Thanks for your comment. I will look at your information. Yes a variant of GBS was the decision. It’s called AMAN-acute motor axonal neuropathy.
If she has a relapse, it’s possibly CIDP

You are VERY welcome; and I read your most recent post and am so happy to read that your daughter is once again climbing stairs! I was overjoyed when I could climb the stairs unattended! It’s odd…the little things that make us so happy! Anyway…I’m glad she’s doing well and I wish you and your family a Happy New Year. You will be in my thoughts.

Hi! I came across your blog as a link on an inflammatory myopathy site. I am 35, with lupus and currently dealing with the disease. I’m on prednisone and responding well (if not slowly)…but I do feel for your daughter and your family. I know what she’s going through. From your recent postings it sounds like the doctors have diagnosed her with GBS. I’ll be thinking of her.
